Diego Jota has now scored as many goals for Liverpool in 2020 as Roberto Firmino (5).
With this, my guess right now, I strongly believe Diego Jota is coming for the starting spot and that means Firmino regularly starts is close to a regular bench player.
That's what I think. Now let's talk more on some of the reasons why this is possible.
Jota has done more in a year, a player who just signed for a football club, that has not even spent up to 5 months in the club, comes in as a substitute and make impacts with goals.
I mean, how many goals has Pepe scored for Arsenal from last season till date compared to the Portuguese?
On the other side to the story, maybe we need to give his good form more time before comparing him with a player who has been there over a year and has contributed to the team two trophies.
Since Jota is still a newbie at the Liverpool football club. I'd say, let's just chill and wait to see more of Jota's goals. What you think?
